Terms
Nova is pre-launch and is not currently taking payment. The binding subscription agreement — billing, renewal, refunds, liability and governing law — is being prepared with external counsel and will replace the relevant sections below before Nova takes its first payment. Everything else on this page describes how the product actually works today and applies to your use of it now.
What Nova is
Nova is an AI assistant. It keeps your to-dos and reminders, answers questions in a chat, can show you a calendar you have connected, and can publish a booking link so people can request time with you. On macOS, Nova can additionally act on your own computer when you ask it to. It is provided by PrimeX Meta, Dubai, UAE.
What Nova is not
Nova is not a bank, a payment service, an accountant, or a lawyer. Nothing it produces is financial, legal or tax advice. It does not move money.
Accuracy
Nova is built on language models. It can be wrong, and it can be confidently wrong. Check anything that matters before you act on it. Where Nova reads from a connected account, it is reporting what that account contains at the moment it looked; it is not a system of record.
Connected accounts
Connecting a Google account is optional. Nova asks only for read-only calendar access and cannot change anything in your account. You can disconnect at any time, from inside Nova or from your Google account settings. How that data is handled is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Acting on your computer
The macOS app can control your machine to carry out tasks you give it. Two things follow, and both are your side of the arrangement: you are responsible for what you ask it to do, and you should not point it at systems you are not authorised to use. Nova asks before actions it judges destructive, but that judgement is not a guarantee — supervise it the way you would supervise a new assistant with your password.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your account credentials to yourself.
- Don't use Nova to harass anyone, or to break the law.
- Don't use Nova to send unsolicited bulk messages, or to impersonate anyone.
- If you publish a booking link, you are responsible for what you put on it.
Availability
Nova is provided as-is while it is pre-launch. There is no uptime commitment yet; there will be one in the final version of this page, and it will be a number rather than a promise to try.
Ending it
You can stop using Nova and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that is being used to break the law or to attack the service, and will say why when we do.
